Zoho + AI
AI that works inside your Zoho apps
Zia is already in CRM, Books, Desk and Analytics. We set up the data, access rights and workflows so predictions, summaries and AI agents are actually used by your team, with people still making the decisions.
Zia is the AI assistant built into Zoho applications such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk and Zoho Analytics. Indokrisna, a Zoho Authorized Partner in Indonesia, helps you choose the Zia capabilities that matter, prepare your data so predictions are useful, design agents and automations with human review, set access rights, and train your team to use them every day.
What Zia can do, app by app

Zia Agents · Zoho MCP
From assistant to agents: Zia Agents and Zoho MCP
Zia Agents
AI agents built in Zoho's low-code Agent Studio, or chosen from 100+ prebuilt agents in the Agents Store. Zoho states that these agents run on Zoho-hosted LLMs.
Zia Chat
A conversational interface that understands context, answers and takes actions for you across Zoho apps.
Zoho MCP
Connects the AI agent you choose, such as Claude or GPT, to data and actions in Zoho apps such as CRM, Desk, Books and WorkDrive, with OAuth authorisation and user-level permissions.
Governance: AI you can stand behind
We do not promise specific AI outcomes. Every automation is designed with human review and clear access rights.
People make the decisions
We design flows where AI suggestions are reviewed before they are applied, as in Zoho's own bank reconciliation example: the accountant still reviews every recommendation.
Access by role
Agents and automations act with the permissions of the user who runs them. We set up roles and permissions before AI is switched on.
Data and privacy
Third-party integrations are switched on only if you choose them, and we document that choice. Handling of personal data takes Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection into account.
Data quality first
Predictions are only as good as the data behind them. We clean and standardise data before switching on scores, predictions or anomaly detection.
How we implement AI in Zoho
Why AI in Zoho needs to be set up, not just switched on
Zia’s capabilities already exist in many Zoho apps, but the results depend on the work around them: tidy data, the right roles and access rights, and workflows that make clear when an AI suggestion is used and when it is rejected. That is Indokrisna’s part, using the same method as every Zoho implementation we run.
If your Zoho system is already live, a Zoho health check is a good starting point to judge whether your data and configuration are ready for AI. If you are not sure which app fits, start with the fit guide or contact us.
-
Choose the use case
We start from one or two processes with a clear benefit, such as lead prioritisation or ticket triage, not from a feature list.
-
Check edition and data
We confirm that the Zia capabilities you need are available in your account's edition and data centre, then assess data quality.
-
Configure and test
We switch on and set up Zia, predictions or agents, then test them on real data with your team.
-
Train and review
Users learn to read AI suggestions and when to reject them. Once live, we review the results with you.
Frequently asked questions
What is Zia in Zoho?
Zia is Zoho's AI assistant, built into many Zoho applications. Its capabilities differ by app: for example scores and predictions in Zoho CRM, anomaly detection and bank reconciliation suggestions in Zoho Books, Answer Bot in Zoho Desk, and plain-language data questions in Zoho Analytics.
Does Zia need an extra licence or fee?
For Zoho Desk, Zoho states that Zia's generative AI is included at no additional cost, and for Zoho Analytics there is no separate AI tool to license. Feature availability still depends on the edition, and terms for Zia Agents may differ. We check this for your account and state it in the quote.
Is our data used by other companies' AI models?
Zoho states that Zia runs on your data without exposing it to external vendors' models. If you choose to switch on a third-party integration, such as ChatGPT in Zoho Analytics or Zoho Desk, that provider's terms also apply. We help you decide and we document the choice.
Does Zia support Bahasa Indonesia?
Language support differs by feature. For example, Zoho lists Ask Zia in Zoho Analytics as supporting English, with Spanish in beta. We check the language support of each feature you need and design workflows that remain comfortable for teams working in Bahasa Indonesia.
Can AI such as Claude or ChatGPT connect to Zoho?
Yes, through Zoho MCP. Zoho describes MCP as model-agnostic and names Claude and GPT as examples. Agents work with OAuth authorisation and user-level permissions, so they can only do what that user is allowed to do.
Where should we start with AI in Zoho?
Start with one process that has reasonably clean data and a benefit that is easy to measure, such as lead prioritisation in Zoho CRM or ticket triage in Zoho Desk. We help you pick the use case, check the edition and data, then roll it out in stages with your team.
